I have felt God leading me to start a blog for quite some time now. I’m sorry Father that I haven’t been obedient. I know if you bring me to it, you qualify me. I don’t need credentials, because you are my credentials.

For those of you who know me, know that I love Jesus and am inspired by God to write. I named this Donna’s Porch because often that is where God shows me the wonder of the mysteries of His Word and the beauty of His universe. I love to take photographs and I love to write and talk about Jesus!

Praise God for new beginnings. I was reading this morning in Luke 1:26-38 about Mary, the mother of Jesus. And the angel saying to her, with God all things are possible! And Mary’s incredible response, Behold, the bondslave of the Lord, may it be done to me according to Your Word. What a declaration! I declare that over my life, may it be done to me according to Your Word. May we each declare over our lives, this wonderful statement, claiming those promises in His Word. Some of His wonderful promises, Romans 8:37, I am more than a conqueror in Christ. Phil 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil 4:19, And My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His Glory! One of my favorites – Joshua 1:9, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord Your God will be with you wherever you go.

God’s Word is life to those who find it and healing to their whole bodies! Prov 4:22 – Wow, what a promise! God is so faithful. I will be posting some of the things that God has given me to share over the past and the new stuff as well. I pray that God use His Word through me to touch each of you in a great and mighty way!
